Packing Paper Types

Tissue paper is used, to wrap silverware, fine china, glassware, silver and all manner of delicate clothing.Tissue paper is used to provide an soft inner wrap when packing fine china or crystal. The tissue is then overwrapped with either packing paper or bubble pack to provide a suitable amount of padding.
 

Newsprint paper is used for packaging and void filling purposes as well. Newsprint should be clean so nothing will get smudged.


White paper is used to pack dishes and such for a move. The packing paper, usually, measures about 24 by 30 inches. How much do you need? A typical 3 bedroom house requires 80 -- 100 pounds for good, safe packing.


Kraft paper is used to wrap parts, glass products, stationary products and a variety of other products. It offers very good protection and cushioning during shipping or even storage storage. Kraft paper is an excellent void filler.
